Ricoh Co. Ltd. of Japan has released firmware updates for the Ricoh CX1, CX2 and CX3 digital cameras.
The updates fix a problem common to all three models, a failure for the distortion correction function to operate in some circumstances.
Additionally, for the CX1 and CX2, the updated firmware corrects and issue with dropped connections during printing with PictBridge. For the CX3, an issue has been fixed for blurred images shot with Auto Bracketing enabled. Inaccurate flash throttling has also been resolved when shooting using the 7-megapixel 16:9 aspect ratio image resolution.
The updated firmware may be downloaded from the Ricoh site.
