Datacolor has dropped the price of its main products. The SpyderCube color balancing solution will now sell for $49, down from $59, or a drop of 20%; the Spyder3Elite display calibration solution is now $229, down from $249 (9% drop); and the Spyder3Studio SR complete color management system for $539, down from $599 for an 11% drop.
The company said the Spyder3Studio SR workflow solution includes the Spyder3Print SR (strip reader), a spectrocolorimeter that incorporates significant advancements in ICC printer profile technology; the Spyder3Elite, a monitor calibration tool which has become the trusted, industry standard of photographers and enthusiasts; and the SpyderCube, which eliminates any need for traditional 18% gray cards.
In addition to the reduced prices, throughout the month of August Datacolor will be offering a limited time $50.00 mail-in rebate, here, with a purchase of a Spyder3Studio SR made at any participating reseller or online.
