Review: EPSON Picturemate 250 Printer

Epson PictureMate 250 Portable Photo Printer

DPexpert.com highly recommends the $330 Epson PM250 portable photo printer. After reviewing the PM250, it said “the image quality from this tiny printer is exemplary. Resolution is of the highest order. Colour is faithful to the original. Output is consistently excellent and comparable with the very best photolab prints.”

The Epson PM250 prints postcard-size (10cm by 15cm) photos. It is intended as a stand-alone printer for use without a computer and it has both a carry handle and optional battery to enhance its portability.

But to claim that the printer doesn’t need the computer to do its job is quite a stretch. DPexpert.com says the tiny LCD screen which is used for navigation and image correction is just totally inadequate for the job.
