For $90, You Can Test Drive the Leica M8 Digital Rangefinder

The New Leica M8 Digital Rangefinder Camera

If you’re a photographer in the UK, you can test drive the Leica M8 digital rangefinder camera for £45 (about $90). You can have it for three hours, have fun shooting pictures with it and, when you’re done, take it back to the Leica dealer. You keep your pictures, of course.

The “test drive” promotional period runs until September 30, 2007 so there’s plenty of time. But book early, there could be a horde waiting for this opportunity (to test if the UV/IR filter really works to correct some image problems with the M8).

The cool part is, if you decide to buy the Leica M8 the test fee will be credited to your purchase. Present M system owners get to try the M8 too, for free; just show your receipts.
