Lens maker Carl Zeiss has announced 8 lenses at the Photokina photo expo in Cologne, Germany. They are:
1. Three new ZV medium format lenses – intended for the classic Hasselblad camera system: the wide-angle Distagon T* 4/50 ZV, macro lens Makro-Planar T*4/120 ZV, and the tele lens Sonnar T* 4/180 ZV.
2. Two super-fast Zeiss ZF macro lenses for Nikon F-mount cameras – the new ZEISS Makro-Planar T* 2/50 ZF and Makro-Planar T* 2/100 ZF are the fastest macro lenses for 35mm full-frame photography.
3. Two new, compact super wide-angle lenses with M-bayonet – the Distagon T* 4/18 ZM and C Biogon T* 4.5/21 ZM.
4. The humungous Zonnar T* 4/1700, world’s largest telephoto lens specially made for one particular customer who will use it on the Hasselblad 203FE 6x6cm medium format camera.
