Topaz Labs Rolls Out Lens Effects

After Topaz Remask, an application that can quickly select a subject from a photo, it was just a matter of time for Topaz Labs to come up with Topaz Lens Effects, which they announced Friday.

So now you can show pictures that look like they were shot with expensive lenses because Topaz Lens Effects simulates 20 different styles of filters, lenses and specialty cameras; it even includes over 150 presets.

The new application allows users to add convincing enhancements to emphasize a focal point, to create bokeh to blur a distracting background and to add vignette.

Topaz Lens Effects retails for $80, but for now until June 1, 2011 they’re offering it at a discounted price of $50.
