Transcend Releases JetFlash 180 USB Drives

Transcend JetFlash 180 USB flash drive

Transcend has released its stainless steel-bodied JetFlash 180 USB2.0 Flash Drive, in capacities of 1GB, 2GB and 4GB. The stainless steel body is a design decision to keep the flash drive durable as well as aesthetically pleasing.

The company says the JetFlash 180 is built using Hi-Speed SLC NAND-type Flash with a read speed of 12MBps and write speed of 8MBps, and is engineered to ensure better performance and a longer lifespan.

It comes bundled with software to keep your data secure. The PC-Lock function makes the JetFlash 180 a hardware key to lock your computer, and the Secret-Zip Function compresses and password protects saved files using AES encryption. The software also provides the JetFlash 180 with an email, auto-login, favorites and data backup functions for added utility.
