The 2006 Digital Camera Satisfaction Study by J.D. Power and Associates has revealed the industry leaders in four price categories.
Nikon topped the $199 or less price segment, while Kodak dominated the $200-$399 category for 3 straight years. In the $400-$599 level, Canon ranked highest while Olympus towered in the $600 or more high-end category.
The study measured six factors within each price-based camera segment to determine overall satisfaction: ease of use, connectivity, functionality, cost, picture quality and appearance.
