On August 1st Sony announced their newest digital camera, the seven-megapixel Cyber-shot® DSC-T10. The T10 features a 3x zoom lens, 2.5 inch LCD screen, and optical image stabilization. It should hit stores this month at an estimated retail price of $400 and will be available in four colors: silver, black, white, and pink.
The T10 is a member of the new T-series of cameras from Sony which offer a double anit-blur protection feature that provides high-quality pictures even in less than great conditions. They also have the Super Steady Shot® optical image stabilization to protect against blurs from shaky hands or other types of movement by automatically calculating what it is required for a clear picture. The high light sensitivity makes for quality pictures even when shooting moving objects or in low lighting.
The T10 also features a 3x Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar® optical zoom lens, a 2.5-inch Clear Photo Plus LCD screen which is very easy on the eyes, and a slide show feature with four selectable modes. It has quick shot-to-shot times thanks to it’s Sony’s Real Imaging Processor® circuit and long battery life using using rechargeable NiMH batteries. And with 56mb of internal memory, the T10 can be used right out of the box.
