Sanyo introduces a new pocket-sized Full HD digital movie camera with impressive still photo functionality. The Sanyo Xacti HD1010 boasts full high-definition (1920×1080) movie recording while also offering photo functionality featuring high-speed sequential shots of up to 7 frames per second.
Its improved high-speed image processing engine is able to process large amounts of data for approximately 37 minutes of Full HD video on a 4GB SDHC Memory card.
Sanyo says the HD1010 can take still photos even while recording a video without stopping or interruption. It also offers Wide Dynamic Range and Contrast Correction functions to enable sharper images.
The Xacti HD1010 is slated to debut in Japan on June 20, 2008 when its price will also be announced.
