Royal Photographic Society Announces Print Winners

The UK’s Royal Photographic Society announced yesterday the Award winners of The 151st International Print Exhibition, held in partnership with international legal practice Allen & Overy LLP.

The Gold Award of £10,000 (almost $20,000) went to Richard Crompton for his print titled Generations 2, a montage of family faces.

Vicky Hodgson and Paula Smith each got £2,000 for their Silver Awards, while Johnny Jetstream got £1,000 as Bronze awardee.

The Gold winner for the under-25 years category was James Carver-Grenside. He also got £1,000.

In addition to the awards, the theme of the newly introduced Allen & Overy LLP Prize was Justice Around the World. Its first winner is Jeff Vickers FRPS for his image Captured and Released. Jeff has donated his prize money to the Save the Children fund.
