Rolleiflex has introduced their Rollei Flexline 250 compact camera which uses a shifting CCD mechanism and an inertia sensor balance for image stabilization. Aside from solving the problem of camera shake that causes blurring, this image stabilization also helps in low light shooting as it allows longer exposure times.
The 12-megapixel Rollei Flexline 250 (€199) is one of three new cameras introduced by the company. The other two are the Flexline 200 (€170) and the Flexline 140 (€129).
The Flexline 200 also has 12 megapixels. It utilizes high ISO settings to optimize exposure times in poor lighting conditions. The 10-megapixel Flexline 140 is an inexpensive entry-level camera in this series from Rollei. It has a focal range of 30mm to 128mm packed in an ultra-slim 20mm body.
