RICOH Updates Firmware for Caplio R6, R7 Compacts

RICOH has posted firmware updates for its compact digital camera models Caplio R6 and Caplio R7.

The new firmware (Version 1.45) for the Ricoh Caplio R6 fixes a bug with the operation of the lens retracting unit, while Firmware 1.25 for the Ricoh Caplio R7 addresses some issues with direct printing in PIctBridge mode. It also fixes the same problem with the lens retracting unit as the R6.
