Review: Nikon D80 is Really Tops

Nikon D80 DSLR

Are there still any doubters out there? Another review confirms that the Nikon D80 is really at the top of its class.

The distinguished “Class of 2006”, which includes the Canon EOS 400D, Sony Alpha 100 and the Nikon D80 – all excellent cameras – clearly has a valedictorian.

Dave Etchells and Shawn Barnett of Imaging Resource have just finished their minute examination of a production sample of the D80 and came out with a verdict: it’s a whopping 10 megapixels of success.

“By any measure, the Nikon D80 is a superb photographic tool, offering value well beyond its relatively modest price point. It’s solidly built, well-balanced in the hand, highly responsive, and delivers excellent image quality,” said the Imaging Resource.

“Having now thoroughly tested a production sample of the Nikon D80, all our initial impressions have been confirmed, and we can give it our wholehearted endorsement.” Enough said.
