It’s only February but we’ve already seen a flood of new camera introductions for 2008 thanks to the recently held Consumer Electronics Show and PMA last January.
PopPhoto.com kept count of the new cameras and listed them in 5 categories. There were 7 DSLRs, 8 superzooms, 39 ultra-thin compacts, 9 point-and-shoots and 2 specialty cameras on their list.
So if you want a refresher on the new camera announcements, it’s there complete with photos and descriptions.
I was just wondering why Zach didn’t mention the 9 new models from General Imaging, which included the quite impressive (on paper at least) E1050 which features smile detection, blink detection, upgraded lens and an LCD screen that adjusts to changes in ambient light.
