Photokina 2006 Will Be The Biggest Ever

Photokina 2006 will open its doors starting September 26, 2006 to an estimated 160,000 visitors from 140 countries who will attend the global imaging trade show in Cologne, Germany. Around 1,600 suppliers from 50 countries will show their latest imaging products in the international trade fair.

The biennial Photokina trade event showcases products from leading companies of the global imaging sector like Canon, Nikon, Kodak and Sony. Many of them – such as Epson, HP, Casio, Samsung, Nokia and Panasonic – are participating with considerably larger trade show presentations in 2006 than two years ago, according to a Photokina announcement.

Apple and CeWe Color (Europe’s largest photofinisher) will attend for the first time. For the first time too, Photokina 2006 will be held in the newly restructured Cologne Exhibition Center.
