MyBook Photo Book Kit is a photo album you make yourself, no uploading of photos, no waiting. The basic kit includes the book with a window cut, two end sheets and a photo book layout software, all for under $20. You add more sheets for more photos and then you assemble it yourself. A consumer simply prints out the pages, attaches the included coversheets, and removes the adhesive strips.
Its supplier Peleman Industries promises that the outcome will be a professional looking customized hardcover keepsake. It can also be used for presentations and proposals that need good quality images.
Since the albums are sealed without a heating unit or messy glue, the albums are safe for kids to use. The book’s finished quality is very similar to that of a professional quality album, but for a fraction of the cost, according to Peleman.
MyBook Photo Book Kit will be officially launched at the Photo Marketing Association Expo (PMA), to be held March 8-11, 2007 in Las Vegas.
