Olympus Updates Firmware for New E-30 DSLR

Olympus E-30 DSLR Camera

Olympus has a new firmware, Version 1.1, for its E-30 DSLR. The update reduces the sound of the Image Stabilization feature when IMAGER AF and HYBRID AF are being used.

The new firmware also resolves the issue where pressing the delete button in close-up playback occasionally caused the card access lamp to blink. Additionally, it resolves the issue where the images with a changed aspect ratio played back with Index display sometimes had horizontal stripes.
