Olympus has unveiled their E-450 Four Thirds DSLR, updating its one-year old E-420 sibling. The new one shares the same compact size of the old one, 5.1 x 3.6 x 2.1 inches and 13.4 oz. in weight, plus the same 10-megapixel live-view sensor, 2.7-inch LCD, ISO 1600 maximum sensitivity and 3.5fps continuous shots.
So, what’s new with the E-450? Well, it’s got a newer TruePic III+ image processor and 3 in-camera Art Filters, like those in the more expensive E-30.
It also boasts improved flash control and a longer 30-minute exposure. This entry-level DSLR is priced at $700 with two lenses bundled, the ED 14-42mm f3.5/5.6 and ED 40-150mm f4.0/5.6 Zuiko zooms, slated to start selling in May 2009.
