What, they’re running out of Nikon D80’s and Canon 400D’s? These two models appear to be most popular and generating a huge demand that they are now in short supply.
A Canon spokesman said all models in the company’s range of DSLR cameras are in good supply with the exception of the new EOS 400D, which is in an extremely high demand worldwide. But Canon assures that customers’ orders will be met as quickly as possible.
Nikon for its part said the demand for digital SLRs outstripped industry forecasts – affecting popular models including the D80 and D40, indicating a resurgence in SLR photography and the positive state of the market.
