Japan-based Mutoh America Inc. will introduce their Spitfire Extreme large format commercial inkjet printers at the forthcoming International Sign Expo 2007 to be held at Mandalay Bay on April 11-14 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Mutoh says the Spitfire Extreme, which comes in 65†and 90†widths, uses mild solvent inks that have excellent drying and drop fixation characteristics enabling a wide range of uncoated, eco-coated and coated substrates and self-adhesive PVC to be used with outdoor durability lasting up to 3 years.
This large format inkjet printer is targeted at speed-intensive sign production applications. It prints at speeds of up to 177.6 sq/ft/hr on uncoated media.
ISA 2007 is being hosted by the International Sign Association.
