Minox today introduced the DC 6033 WP, a waterproof camera that can go diving with you to a depth of ten meters, or go to work in a rough environment such as in a construction site where your stylish point-and-shoot camera may be squeamish. It can also go with you mountain-climbing, sailing or diving.
The ruggedized DC 6033 WP boasts a sturdy body with a rubber armor coating that makes it good to hold, and it can withstand the occasional shocks and bumps of an active lifestyle.
Its 6-megapixel CCD image sensor should provide enough resolution for most needs. It is also equipped with a multicoated Minoctar lens that has a 42mm fixed focal length. On the back is a 2.0-inch TFT color monitor to view your shots. It weighs 230g and measures 78 x 120 x 43 mm.
The new MINOX DC 6033 WP comes with two AA batteries, a wrist strap, case, USB cable, CD-Rom with software as well as a user manual.
