Memorex has entered the burgeoning market for flash memory cards with its new line of products intended for mobile devices such as digital and video cameras, PDAs and mobile phones. They have almost all of the card formats, except Sony’s proprietary Memory Stick.
Memorex TravelCards include the mini SD with up to 2GB capacity, the SD or Secure Digital with storage from 256MB to 2GB and featuring a write protection switch and the Micro SD/TransFlash, one of the smallest flash cards with 2GB of memory.
The new line of TravelCards also offer the MMC/MMC Plus ranging from 128MB to 1GB, MMC Mobile for smartphones and PDAs with 128MB to 1GB, MMC Micro which is smallest flash card in the market with up to 512MB and SDMI (Secure Digital Music Initiative with up to 2GB for MP3 players.
