Fujifilm has announced the all-new X-Pro1 mirrorless interchangeable lens camera, boasting high end features that combine retro style with modern camera engineering.
The headline features:
1. Large APS-C 16-megapixel X-Trans CMOS sensor developed in-house by Fujifilm. The company claims this new sensor is practically immune to color moire, suggesting a high level of detail resolution.
2. Fujinon interchangeable XF lenses and original X-mount. The just announced camera is escorted by three fixed focal length lenses: the XF18mmF2 R, XF 35mmF1.4 R and XF60mmF2.4 R Macro, giving 28mm, 50mm and 90mm equivalents respectively.
3. Hybrid Multi Viewfinder. Fujifilm said for the brightest viewing image, and to keep shutter lag to a minimum, users should choose the Optical Viewfinder. Those wanting focus confirmation, exposure information, white balance information and depth of field indicators should switch to Electronic Viewfinder.
Price for the X-Pro1 will be $1700, with lenses that will cost around $650.
