Free Online Photography Courses

In learning photography, nothing beats a classroom or workshop experience where you can get hands-on guidance from your mentor or instant tips from your classmates. But if you don’t have the time or the chance to be in a classroom setting, the next best thing is online classes.

There’s a website (among hundreds) that walks you through the basics of photography and it’s been there for a number of years now. It’s also free.

Jodie Coston’s free online photography course offers the reader 10 lessons with sample photos and student discussions. It’s just one of 10 sites that offer free online photography classes. These 10 are listed here.

Jodie’s online classes are posted at morguefile.com; there’s nothing morbid about it, the only hint of mortality there is that the site is dedicated to the website authors’ deceased parents.
