Adobe has rolled out the new versions of Lightroom and Camera Raw, weeks after the release candidates were farmed out to a community of testers. Lightroom 4.2 and Adobe Camera Raw 7.2 now support 21 additional new cameras including the Sony A99 and RX100, the Fujifilm X-E1 and the Canon EOS M.
Tentatively, it also adds support for the new Nikon D600 full frame DSLR, but quickly adds that support for the camera is “preliminary and there is a minor risk that the appearance of your images may change when the final support for Nikon D600 is available in an upcoming release.”
Users of Nikon D800 and Canon 5D Mark III may now be able to do tethered shooting with LR 4.2, as do nine other camera models that have gained support in Lightroom.
The updates may be downloaded from the Adobe site.
