Printer maker Epson and software maker NewSoft have introduced Imaging Workshop, a photograph printing software designed exclusively for selected Epson printers.
The new software offers browsing, layout and printing for professional photographers, streamlining the process of printing pictures on certain Epson photo printers, including the Stylus Pro 3800.
With Imaging Workshop, photographers should find it easier to layout and print several photos on a single page or across multiple pages. You can also print directly from various Canon, Nikon and other makers’ RAW files (as well JPEG, 8/16-bit TIFF, PSD, PNG and BMP); it is designed to simplify the use of color management in the printing workflow.
There’s a 30-day trial available for download if you’re interested. It’s $199 to buy until July 31. It goes up to $249 after that.
