Epson UK introduced today the Stylus D92, an entry level home printer for everyday printing of photos and A4-sized documents.
The D92 uses four individual ink cartridges, making it cost-effective as only the color that is used needs to be replaced. It delivers borderless, lab quality glossy photos, up to A4 size, as well as laser-like text. The print is resistant to water, smudging and fading because it uses the Epson DuraBrite Ultra Ink, according to the company.
The new printer comes with its own Epson Creativity Suite software which makes it easy to manage, file and print photos.
The Stylus D92 also features Epson PhotoEnhance for users who want optimum image quality without the need for manual photo manipulation. It automatically detects skin tones, landscapes and skylines to give the best color settings for high quality photos.
The D92 is available in June at £39.99 ($80). Individual ink cartridges are from £6.99 ($14) each.
