EasyShare Z710: Big Zoom from Kodak

Kodak EasyShare Z710

Kodak today announced its EasyShare Z710 zoom digital camera, featuring 7.1 megapixels, a non-stabilized 10x optical zoom, 2-inch LCD, 19 pre-programmed scene and color modes, and full manual control.

The budget-priced Z710 is now selling at $299, and Kodak says the camera is “intuitive enough for beginners and sophisticated enough for digital photography enthusiasts,” providing point-and-shoot simplicity with advanced features to easily get professional-looking results.

It uses a professional quality Schneider Kreuznach Variogon 10X optical zoom lens and their exclusive Kodak Color Science imaging processing chip which helps to capture natural details.

“With the release of the Z710 model we are setting a new price-to-performance benchmark making it incredibly simple for people to take, make, share, and organise pictures at a great value,” said Mary Hadley, General Manager, Digital Still Cameras, Kodak’s Consumer Digital Imaging Group.
