The DXG-Roadster Portable Media Center is the Swiss Army knife of consumer electronics. It is a 5-megapixel digital camera that can also shoot and record video, a game pad for playing video games, a music player for MP3 and WMA tunes, a voice recorder and an FM radio tuner (What, no TV? no phone?).
All these features are rolled into a form factor that resembles a Sony PSP, only smaller, so you can take it anywhere you go. It even claims to be a storage device, but with only 32MB of internal memory, I wouldn’t call it that. It has an SD slot, though, where you can insert a large capacity SD card and use it to record movies, photos, etc.
Yes, you can record your favorite TV show on it and play it back while waiting in line for a dreadful appointment with your dentist. Its 2.5-inch LCD screen promises to be bright enough to properly display TV shows.
Or why not play a game of Tetris or Boxman or Gobang? Hey, these games are pre-loaded on the DXG-Roadster and are ready to play. Get a warranty when you buy one. Its $199 price MSRP is almost too good to be true.
