Corsair has expanded the capacity of its ruggedized Flash Voyager and Flash Survivor USB drives to 32GB, enough to store 16 full-length high-def movies or an entire season of a TV series.
The capacious drives can be used as portable back-up devices for critical or sensitive information because they come with the True Crypt security application (Windows Vista/XP/2000 compatible only) allowing for a virtual encrypted drive using AES-256 encryption.
The $230 Corsair Flash Voyager 32GB is enclosed in an all-rubber housing that the company claims can withstand being laundered, baked, frozen, boiled, dropped, and even run over by an SUV.
The $250 Flash Survivor is encased in extremely strong CNC-milled, anodized aircraft-grade aluminum and is water resistant to a depth of 200 meters by using an EPDM waterproof seal.
