The new Casio EX-G1 is a shock-resistant, waterproof and dustproof digital camera that can shoot 10 feet underwater for one hour, endure temperatures as low as 14 degrees Fahrenheit (or minus 10 degrees Celsius) and withstand falls from up to 7 feet.
It’s the first in the company’s new EXILIM G brand of digital cameras, taking after Casio’s shock-resistant G-SHOCK line of watches. It also boasts a slim design only 0.79 inch at its thinnest dimension.
The Casio EX-G1 features 12 megapixes, a 3x zoom lens that gives an equivalent 38-114mm zoom range and a 2.5-inch LCD screen. Available in December for $300.
