Canon has released software updates for the following:
• EOS Utility 2.8 for Windows & Macintosh
• Digital Photo Professional 3.8 for Windows & Mac
• Picture Style Editor 1.7 for both PC & Mac.
The EOS Utility Version 2.8 adds support for Windows 7, adds a new overlay display function where it is now possible to overlay an image stored on the computer on a shot displayed on the Remote Live View screen. This version also adds support for the latest EOS camera models, but no longer offers support for previous models including the EOS D30, D60, 10D, 20D, 20Da, 5D, Rebel, Rebel XT, 1D, 1D Mark II, 1D Mark IIn, EOS-1Ds, EOS-1Ds Mark II.
Digital Photo Professional (version 3.8) is a RAW image processing, viewing and editing software for EOS DIGITAL cameras. This latest update adds support for Windows 7, adds a function for adjusting the angle of an image to the trimming tool, and adds aberration correction support for the new EF 70-200m f/2.8L IS II USM Lens.
Version 1.7 of the Picture Style Editor adds support for Windows 7 (32-bit & 64-bit) with computers running on a Pentium 1.3GHz or faster, with at least 1GB of memory (2GB with Windows 7 64-bit), and with a screen resolution of at least 1024×768 (16-bit) or higher.
