Canon USA today launched a batch of new Powershot cameras headlined by the G11 model, pictured above. The new Canon Powershot G11 features a high sensitivity 10-megapixel image sensor powered by the company’s enhanced DIGIC 4 image processing technology to reduce noise and increase quality equal to 2-stops.
The G11 also features a new Dual Anti-Noise System which allows photographers to capture full resolution images – using up to ISO 3200 – in difficult low-light conditions.
Other features of the G11: a 28-140mm optically stabilized lens, enhanced i-Contrast technology, white balance fine control and raw image capture, and a high-resolution (461,000-dot) vari-angle LCD screen.
