Canon too has its own school-centric press release, announcing its technologies on display at this year’s Campus Technology show at the Renaissance Mayflower Hotel in Washington D.C., now in full swing from July 30 to August 2, 2007.

The company says their technologies will help prepare tomorrow’s workforce for the tech-savvy world that awaits them.

Canon hopes to demonstrate how universities can merge digital imaging into classroom activities to enhance the educational experience for students, teachers and administrators.

Canon’s range of products include digital cameras and lenses, printing and document management solutions, video recorders, network video solutions, projectors and visualizers.

The Tokyo-based conglomerate also has on-going programs for children and the environment such as the Canon4Kids Program, the Canon National Parks Science Scholars Program and the Canon Envirothon.
