The Canon Rebel XS, a.k.a EOS 100D, is one capable entry-level digital SLR after all, according to a review by Uwe Steinmueller over at OutbackPhoto.com.
In his report, Uwe notes the XS’s excellent high ISO noise handling and excellent detail in photos. This budget DSLR also delivers well on other features such as a very useful Live View.
So, what would you choose: a Canon XTi (EOS 400D), XSi EOS 450D), or XS (1000D)? Look at your budget, says Uwe; you can’t go wrong with any of these three if you wish to go the Canon way. Of course, there’s always the Nikon 60D or 300D if you choose the other way.
