Breeze Systems DSLR Remote Pro v1.7

Breeze Systems has released DSLR Remote Pro v1.7 for controlling Canon EOS cameras by way of tethered shooting with the computer. At the same time the company also released PSRemote v1.6 for controlling Canon PowerShot cameras. Both apps work only with Canons and PCs.

DSLR Remote Pro v1.7 extends the Photo Booth mode and adds support for the Canon EOS 450D/Rebel XSi, including remote live view display with auto-focus; Photo Pooth mode is added to PSRemote v1.6.

The new Live View in Photo Booth mode lets sitters see themselves pose in front of the camera, enhancing the photo booth experience.

DSLR Remote Pro v1.7 runs on Windows Vista and Windows XP and may be downloadedfor a free 15 day trial. The program supports tethered operation of all current Canon EOS cameras as well as older models.

DSLR Remote Pro is available exclusively from Breeze Systems for $95, while PSRemote v1.6 – which supports tethered operation of Canon PowerShot cameras including the PowerShot S5 IS, A640, SX100 IS and G9 – is available for $49.
