BBC Calls for Entries to Photographer of the Year Contest

BBC Photographer of the Year 2007

It’s summer and the BBC is inviting you to their Photographer of the Year 2007 competition. The top prize is a Nikon D40x DSLR with lens.

You can start taking your photos now on the theme of Blue and submit your entries (JPEGs only, please) via email on or before July 8 to yourpics@bbc.co.uk.

There are other themes and their deadlines are: Hidden – July 22, Concentration – August 5, Look Down – August 19, Heritage – September 2 and Time – September 16.

The BBC wants compelling photos that grab attention, so be creative and don’t limit yourself to the obvious. You may submit up to three entries in each theme. Details at the link below.
