Underwater equipment maker Aquatica of Canada has announced the new AD700, a protective housing for the Nikon D700 for deep sea photography.
The new Aquatica D700 is rated for underwater diving up to a depth of 300 feet or 90 meters. The company said it is designed in the new look of the Aquatica Digital Pro housings, which is painted with a robust weather and wear resistant finish.
This design incorporates the same mounting bayonet as all of the current housings in the Digital Pro line, meaning that it will accept all their existing ports and extensions, including the tack sharp Megadome, according to the company.
The Aquatica D700 retails for US$2,949.
