The White Pentax K2000 entry-level DSLR is now available for pre-order from the Pentax Web Store. $680 will get you the White Pentax K2000 body plus two lenses – the DA-L 18-55mm and DA-L 50-200mm zoom – and the other accessories that complete the kit: USB cable, shoulder strap, hot shoe cover, eye cup, body mount cover, software CD and 4 AA Energizer Lithium batteries (yes, it’s powered by AA batteries).
The K2000 is a 10.2-megapixel DSLR that features Shake Reduction, Advanced Auto Picture mode, up to ISO 3200 light sensitivity and a 2.7-inch LCD.
While white may not be everybody’s color of choice, rest assured you’ll look good with it shooting in the Arctic. Or how about a navy or cruise ship and you’re one of the white-clad crew…
