Super Talent Technology has announced industrial-grade solid state drives (SSDs) that can withstand temperatures from minus-40°C to 85°C. They are called I-Temp SSDs.
The new SSDs function just like conventional hard drives but are significantly more resistant to shock and vibration, aside from extreme temperatures, according to the company.
There are 19 models in all in the I-Temp SSD line, with sizes for 1.8, 2.5 and 3.5-inch drives in SATA and PATA interfaces and they range in capacities from 8GB to 128GB.
Super Talent Solid State Drives are designed and manufactured in San Jose, California.
