Samsung Silver & OPL Edition NV3 Slim Cameras

There’s nothing really new about the silver and gold versions of the Samsung NV3 compact cameras: 7 megapixels, 2.5-inch LCD, 3x optical zoom, 16MB internal memory, etc. are the same. Even the optical image stabilization and media playback features are the same, because it’s the same NV3.

What’s new are the colors. Instead of just the plain black, they now have silver and gold. Or to use Samsung’s term, “OPL” for Oriental Plant Lacquer.

And how much does the new paint job cost? About $50 more tacked onto the price tag of the new NV3s. Is it worth it?
