Fujifilm’s latest rugged and waterproof camera, the FinePix XP170, is WiFi-equipped to allow wireless photo transfer to Andorid or iOS smartphones and tables, making it ultimately easier to upload pictures to the Internet.
The company says the new FinePix XP170 digital camera is ideally suited for outdoor adventures because it features Four-Way Protection: waterproof to 33ft (10M), shockproof to 6.5 ft (2M), freezeproof to 14°F (-10°C) and dustproof.
Features of the XP170 include a 14-MP CMOS sensor, 2.7-inch anti-reflective LCD screen, Fujinon 5x wide and zoom lens (28-140mm equiv), and full 1080p HD video with sound at 30 frames per second.
The new FinePix XP170 will be available in blue and orange colors when it begins shipping in June 2012, with an MSRP of $280.
