The deadline for submissions to be considered for the competition is the 4th of September. Some of the top prizes will be Olympus digital cameras, a day on a photoshoot with the RSPCA, and a trip to attend an award ceremony hosted by wildlife photographer Chris Packham at the Natural History Museum in London.
Entries are divided into two different age groups: under 12 and 12-18 years. Entrants must pick five pictures that collectively show consistent quality. Suitable subjects for entry include but are not limited to: family pets, wildlife and animals from around the world.
The best overall entry will receive a top of the range Olympus digital camera worth £500 and the chance to join the RSPCA on an exclusive photoshoot for a day.
