Pentax Unveils Optio P70, E70 Compact Cameras
Pentax has launched two new compact digital cameras – the 12-megapixel Optio P70 and the 10-megapixel Optio E70.
The Pentax Optio P70 ($200) offers a 4X optical zoom (equivalent to 27.5-110mm), plus a wide angle 28mm lens that is ideal for landscape, indoor and group photos. The stylish Optio P70 has a metal body and is available in multiple stylish colors.
The $140 Optio E70 offers a 3x wide zoom lens (equivalent to 35mm- 105mm) and a 2.4-inch LCD screen. Consumer-friendly features include Pixel Track Shake Reduction technology, Advanced Face Recognition (32 faces in 0.03 seconds), Smile Capture and Blink Detection.
