Pentax has released its new flagship product: the K10D digital SLR camera featuring 10.2 megapixels and a host of other new advanced technologies.
First, Pentax stuffed in 72 seals to keep dust and moisture out according to professional specifications. The K10D also has a Dust Removal system to shake any dust off the CCD that might happen to get in.
Then, they added their own Shake Reduction system that does not require specialized anti-shake lenses. The K10D is also ready to take in the planned supersonic motor-driven lenses. Their 22-bit analog-to-digital conversion promises smoother color gradations, better than anybody else now in the market which are limited to only 12 or 14 bits.
Throw in an 11-point AF system, in-camera RAW image support, ISO 100-1600 sensitivity range, and a 2.5-inch LCD screen and you have a solid DSLR that’s worthy to compete with the best now out in the market.
