A promotional drive by Motorola challenged 8 photographers to capture scenes of 8 cities in just 24 hours. Dubbed “A Day in the Life of the World,†the contest aimed to showcase the quality and sharpness of the company’s new 5-megapixel camera phone, the MOTOZINE TM ZN5.
The resulting images have been posted on the Motorola website. Over a 24-hour period, Motorola said the photographers produced a collection of imagery that encapsulates the essence of Beijing, London, Mexico City, Moscow, Mumbai, New York, Sao Paulo and Sydney. Each photographer took shots of his/her own city.
The up-and-coming photographers who took part in the 24-hour shoot were: Matt Baker in London, Yulia Borodina in Moscow, Phillip Angert in New York, Cysrus Dastur in Mumbai, Alex Bloom in Sydney, Daniel Arantangy in Sao Paulo, Fernanda Roel in Mexico City and Jonathan Leijonhufvud in Beijing.
