Microsoft Windows Live Free Online Services Goes, Well.., Live!

Microsoft Windows Live

Microsoft Corp. today launched the next generation of Windows Live, which aims to provide consumers worldwide with a new set of tools and services that help make it easier than ever to communicate and share with the important people in their lives, from anywhere they have Web access across multiple devices.

It’s got built- in security features, Microsoft says, so consumers can use Windows Live services with confidence. Promise.

To celebrate the launch, Microsoft is partnering with the children’s nonprofit Operation Smile (http://www.operationsmile.org) (good boy!) to encourage people to share smiles through Windows Live to help Operation Smile make a difference in the lives of children around the world.

The Windows Live set of services is composed of several free PC applications connected to services delivered over the Internet – Mail, Photo Gallery, Windows Mobile, Messenger, Spaces and OneCare Family Safety, among many others.

Microsoft wants you to do all these inside the Gates Empire. Ain’t that scary?
