Photography lighting master Joe McNally and digital workflow expert Jerry Courvoisier will be in Milan, Italy on September 30 to October 5, 2007 to conduct workshops on location photography and professional photo management.
McNally will teach participants the use of natural and artificial light, reflectors, strobes, and tungsten to light interiors, exteriors, large and small spaces, street scenes, and people in a wide range of situations and locales. Joe discusses lighting issues that arise in the field when using small on-camera speedlights, as well as the challenges of more elaborate productions.
Courvoisier will lead the digital workflow component of the workshop, sharing his knowledge on how to organize, edit, and process images with maximum efficiency. He discusses his personal approaches to Adobe Bridge and Lightroom, color management, digital capture, simplifying the download process, streamlining the image editing workflow, exploring the benefits of RAW format image capture and processing, and methods of image retrieval and archiving.
