Light Crafts Updates LightZone to Version 3.0.5

Light Crafts has released LightZone 3.0.5, updating its intuitive image editing software based on the Zone System.

The new version adds support for the RAW files from Kodak P712, Nikon D40x, Olympus SP-550UZ and Samsung GX10 cameras.

The update also fixes the problem with some Sony Raw photos opened with the wrong dimensions, and, if a photo is read-only, the ability to edit metadata is now disabled.

Try LightZone free for 30 days. Light Crafts says it’s a lot better (and cheaper!) than Photoshop which they say is not really geared for photography. LightZone offers native RAW editing, integrated noise reduction, direct and batch processing and more intelligent editing tools.

LightZone Basic is priced at $150 while the Full version costs $250.
